Second time here and was just as good as the first time. Went for Sunday brunch last time... this time for dinner. Super welcoming with my 8 year old daughter. The chef came out and spoke german to her. And another cook gave her a beautiful flower and candy. Amazing place !

My family and I did Sunday brunch here today and wow. What amazing food options. We all had the mimosa flight and then I ordered a bene with mushrooms added and it was absolutely scrumptious. The biscuit was so savory and delightful I wanted to cry tears of happiness. The German potatoes had the perfect zing to them with the vinegar that they make them with. If I wasn’t so full I’d have also tried their spatzle today as well. My family are already talking about returning for Easter brunch.

I recently visited Weiss' Gasthaus German Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The food was homemade and cooked to order. I had the bottomless mimosas and the farmers breakfast, which were fantastic. Everything was delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very attentive, so we felt very welcomed. I loved this place and can't wait to go back.

Delicious food and a friendly staff. I was told that all the dishes are from family recipes and it really shows in the quality! William was very kind and great to talk to. I so wish I could have tried the Sunday brunch but had to leave town before then - guess I will just have to come back!

Tucked away in Roseland, this place is an absolute hidden gem! It’s not in your usual downtown spots, but so worth the detour. The vibe here is super relaxing yet elegant - a perfect escape from the usual city buzz. It’s always spotlessly clean too, which I totally appreciate. If you're after a chill spot with great German eats, you've got to check this out!

Friendly staff! First German restaurant treat. Foods are interesting and tasty. There is a bread and butter for the starter. The portions for the main entree are decent for the price. They come with house salads.

This place is a must try in my opinion if you are in the South Bend area. They just don’t make them like this anymore! Food was on point as we sampled a little bit of everything. My wife said it was the best Ruben she ever had, and my sampler plate was amazing as well as our pretzel charcuterie board. GREAT PLACE all around and the service was friendly and inviting. Will go again 100% sure of it next time in South Bend.

Just had the Sunday brunch and I have to say it was amazing. First they brought out a basket of house made rolls with warmed jelly. They tasted like no other roll I've ever had. Fluffy and light with a great taste to them. My friend and I had the half and half which is fluffy biscuits, sausage gravy and German style potatoes. My friend couldn't finish his potatoes due to being full from the other items with it. My wife had the brisket and Benny which is basically eggs Benedict with house made brisket. She too couldn't eat it all! She loved it! The atmosphere and decor is wonderful and fun to look at. It's great to see a restaurant that makes their own pastries, breads, mustards, sauces, and far more than I can describe here! The service is top notch as friendliness and smiles was seen everywhere we looked. If you're looking for an amazing, fun place to go for German cuisine.. this is your place to be!!
